It shows domestic technology from the late 19th century through to the early 2000s. There are many intriguing items from the past and some that might look familiar from our homes today. The gallery shows that, as our lifestyles have changed, we have created better and more efficient gadgets as we expect things to be faster, cheaper and easier to use.
